Access to design files in CAD or AI formats are supported within our system and it requires only a browser plug-in on the users side to be totally functional. If the user needs to preview a CAD file on our on-line system, the user needs only to have a CAD Internet browser plug-in. This rule applies for all the imaging file formats that the Frontech PLM system supports.

Suppliers, customers, agents, and designers worldwide are starting to understand the advantages and power of using a united global business system. Being part of a system that supports data entry (that only needs to be entered once) which self populates through the system in real time, is a major advantage to everyone. Based on the specific functions and level of access a user holds, the system is extremely adaptable and efficient at automatically directing related data to the key users who need or have a right to view it. All user are held accountable with in the system as a signature if left showing the actions the user made. Additionally, no data is ever overwritten, every version of every product specification, sample order, costing breakdown, and all related documentation are retained. Frontech SiteGears™ search engine has a native capability of delivering data according to the filters and options chosen from the users. The CF platform we use supports Macromedia Flash graphical output. That provides an effective and easy to use interface to collect performance data for the executives.

Multi-currency/dynamic exchange rate features work in the way that Frontech PLM calculates currencies within the system by taking into account current exchange rates. This is particularly useful in the scenario when the product components calculated by suppliers are expressed in NT$ and FOB price in US$ (which is very often the case).
